BSc, RN, ENP, Dip Diabetes, Asthma, Triage and COPD Lynne has recently reduced hours and now works part time with our practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner this allows her to assess, diagnose and treat patients independently. She specialises in care of diabetes, asthma and heart disease She is also trained in British Sign Language to level 2 standards. Early morning appointments are available from 7.30am Monday & Tuesday with Lynne. |
Mrs Pauline Cahill- Practice Nurse (f)
RN, Asthma & COPD Diploma & Diabetic diploma Works part time with our practice, Monday Tuesday & Wednesday. She offers health promotion and chronic disease management, and is trained in implanon insertion. Early morning appointments are available from 7,30am with Pauline Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday |
Holly Mew Practice Nurse (f)
Holly is new to Practice Nursing coming from a background of working in A&E as an experienced nurse. Holly is currently undertaking the General Practice Nursing Framework which is a training programme over 14months that will provide Holly with the necessary skills to fulfil the role of Practice Nursing. The Practice is fully committed to to all aspect of learning and developement , she is supported and mentored by our GP Partners, Practice Manager and our current Practice Nursing team. |
Both Lynne and Pauline are highly qualified and experienced clinicians. They specialise in diabetes, asthma, ischaemic heart disease, family planning & post natal care They have appointments each day between 7.30 and 18:00 and operate a triage system ( emergency on the day) phone service in the mornings. If you wish to make an appointment to see one of the practice nurses, contact reception. As well as operating clinics for common complaints, they provide prevention care, such as cervical smears, family planning such as implanon insertion and removals, and well woman and well man clinics. They also run asthma/copd, blood pressure monitoring and diabetes clinics. The Practice no longer provides annual flu vaccinations, eligible groups are called from a central source.
