Dr McLaughlin qualified from the University of Glasgow in 1997, and works four days a week in the practice. Dr McLaughlin started work in the Practice in 2008 and became a GP Partner in April 2014, he is also a GP Trainer and Practice Quality Lead in the Pink Cluster. 

Dr Kay became a GP Partner in the Practice in April 2023 having previously completed GP training in the Practice in 2017 when she became a Salaried GP. Dr Kay's working days are on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays. 

Professor of primary care research and head of section of general practice and primary care at the University of Glasgow. Her research interests are heart disease, new technologies and complex interventions.

Dr Nasim is a Salaried GP and  joined the practice in October 2013,  works Monday & Wednesday mornings and full day Thursday. Dr Nasim is fluent in Punjabi and Urdu.

Lynne has recently reduced hours and now works part time with our practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner this allows her to assess, diagnose and treat patients independently. She specialises in care of diabetes, asthma and heart disease  She is also trained in British Sign Language to level 2 standards.

Early morning  appointments are available from 7.30am Monday & Tuesday with Lynne.

Works part time with our practice, Monday Tuesday & Wednesday. She offers health promotion and chronic disease management, and is trained in implanon insertion. Early morning appointments are available from 7,30am with Pauline Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Holly is new to Practice Nursing coming from a background of working in  A&E as an experienced nurse.  Holly is currently undertaking the General Practice Nursing Framework which is a training programme over 14months that will provide Holly with the necessary skills to fulfil the role of Practice Nursing.  The Practice is fully committed to to all aspect of learning and developement , she  is supported and mentored by our GP Partners, Practice Manager and our current Practice Nursing team.

Both Lynne and Pauline are highly qualified and experienced clinicians. They specialise in diabetes, asthma, ischaemic heart disease, family planning & post natal care  They have appointments each day between 7.30 and 18:00 and operate a triage system ( emergency on the day) phone service in the mornings.

If you wish to make an appointment to see one of the practice nurses, contact reception. As well as operating clinics for common complaints, they provide prevention care, such as cervical smears, family planning such as implanon insertion and removals, and well woman and well man clinics. They also run asthma/copd, blood pressure monitoring and diabetes clinics.

Lorraine is responsible for the overall general organisation and smooth running of our practice & manages our Administrative team.  If you have any questions about the practice, suggestions to help us improve the service we provide, or have had problems or a complaint, then please ask to speak to Lorraine.

We have a small  team of Receptionist's who are very experienced. Our Practice Manager and Reception team meet regularly to review systems within our Practice to ensure we provide a high quality of service to our Patient's. 

Andrea  is full time and is responsible for overseeing our IT system.

Lauren joined the Practice in 2012 and is a very experienced member of our team.

Lorraine joined our Practice in 2023 with many years of experience working in other GP Practices.

Amanda joined our Team in April 2023 covering maternity leave.

Katie joined our team in December 2022 working a few hours after school gaining administrative experience. Katie helps prepare prescriptions for scanning and new patient registrations. She plans to go to University in late 2024 and we hope she will be able to continue to work with us during her University studies.

Emma joined our team in March 2025 and comes with GP Practice experience.

We offer "shared care" between our team of midwives at the health centre and the hospital of your choice. You are entitled to choose to attend any of the Glasgow hospitals which have a maternity unit for your ante natal care and birth. You will be offered an initial booking appointment followed by regular appointments at the antenatal clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays where your progress will be monitored throughout your pregnancy.

The practice health visitors are trained in the care of mothers and their babies from birth through their early years and are available to give you advice during your pregnancy and after the birth. After the birth you will be visited by the midwife and health visitor at your home. They will give you advice on childcare and your own health, and also invite you to attend immunisation clinics, developmental checks and a weekly baby clinic.

The practice nurses will carry out your post natal check at around 6 weeks after your baby is born and give you advice on issues such as contraception.

Our health visiting team provide advice and support to all young families. They specialise in child health, immunisation, parenting and post natal mums. They run appointments during the week in the practice and do home visits. If you have concerns or worries about your baby or child, especially related to feeding, development, immunisation or your own parenting or health, please feel free to contact them.

We offer services with our Community Links Worker, Cristina Schieffer.  Links workers are practitioners who work within GP Practices providing non medical support with personal, social, emotional and financial issues.  These include low mood, anxiety and stress, social isolation, money, poverty issues and bereavement  Cristina is a trained Counsellor and referral can be made directly by the patient or Gp referral.  Our Admin staff can advise on the process.
